Morrisville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Morrisville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

So lemme start off with saying this was our second time ordering to-go and unfortunately our last time eating here. The first time the food was good and warranted another try before it was added into rotation. This time I got chicken pad see ew instead of shrimp. While eating I noticed that it was not as flavorful as the shrimp and the chicken was rather dry. I stopped eating it to doctor it up a bit. And while mixing my food I saw a little more than I requested for. Yup a cooked caterpillar wrapped around the broccoli. So, back to the restaurant I went with uneaten food from the whole order. When I arrived I asked for the manager. The girl at the counter asked why, I mentioned the hitchhiker and I don’t know if it was disbelief or communication error but she wasn’t understanding what I was saying. So I politely opened the container and pointed it out. She then proceeded to ask if I wanted it made over. I declined the offer and asked for a full refund because our meals were ruined and tainted. Then the manager came out and stated he would only refund the ‘defective’ meal and not the whole purchase. Which leads me to writing this negative review which I never thought I had to but I

Maybe it was a one off experience, but the food was not at all tasty. It was bland and very average. The fried fish ball was ok. The soup was salty. The jungle fried rice and basil fried rice was just upto no good. Not a good experience for us as a family.

Accidentally left a review meant for a different restaurant, so I want to correct that as Thai 54 is actually one of my favorite spots in the area! I eat here at least once a month (sometimes more), and the consistency is always 10/10. The food is bussin, pricing is very fair ( large portions while not skimping on flavor /quality) and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. If you come in even semi-regularly, they’ll remember you and your order, which says a lot. Highly recommend the chicken wings, ka prao gai-kai dao, and the mango sticky rice…🤤 Great food, great people, great vibes/atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out. อร่อยเสมอ ขอบคุณนะคะ 😄

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience felt worth sharing. (To note: crispy spring rolls are pretty good 1/4 items was to our liking) The curry base was far too hot, to the point where it overpowered everything else. If you’re sensitive to spice, I would recommend avoiding the curry altogether. I totally respect that everyone has their preferences, so mine might just differ. The fresh tofu rolls were also disappointing. The rice paper was overly soft and soggy, causing the rolls to fall apart, and the filling itself lacked flavor. It made for a gooey bite that wasn’t the best. Tip is to not have hot food in the fresh rolls as it expedites the sog factor. Fried rice was flavorless. Recommend adding more salt/spice. I understand that not every meal will be perfect, and while I can’t request a refund (due to restaurant policy), the overall quality of the food didn’t meet expectations. Appreciate the restaurant and for serving the neighborhood, just really wish I had a better experience 😔 I hope this feedback is helpful for both the restaurant and future customers.

Stopped in for a Monday Lunch. Inside was clean and bright. Service was prompt and friendly. I tried my standard when first visiting a Thai spot - Papaya Salad. I got it was an added side of marinated Fried Pork. Super delicious, nice presentation, and I thought a great bargain at about $22. Check out Thai 54 Restaurant and see if you like it too!
